Brad Schreiber

Brad Schreiber is a successful nonprofit executive whose career spans 34 years in the higher education and human services sectors. Starting in annual giving and alumni relations, his experience also includes event management, donor relations & stewardship, major & planned giving, and campaign development & management. He has successfully built and managed large teams and is skilled in developing relationships that encourage donors to identify and support their passions.
Brad joined the Empreinte team after retiring from SUNY Brockport, where he served as Assistant Vice President for Advancement, responsible for all aspects of giving and alumni relations functions as well as scholarships and donor relations. He also spent six years at the Mary Cariola Center as Director of Agency Advancement, leading the organization’s highly successful fundraising, marketing, and events team.
As a member of the campaign cabinet for SUNY Brockport’s first major comprehensive campaign, Brad was involved in all aspects of campaign development, from leading the consultant selection team to identification and solicitation of donors at the six- and seven-figure level that resulted in surpassing the campaign goal by $1.5M more than 12 months early. Brad also re-imagined the University’s planned giving program, which acquired more than 30 new legacy donors and secured over $1.6M in commitments in three years. Simultaneously, he built and managed successful annual and major giving programs for the University.
Brad has held volunteer leadership and executive board positions with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Genesee Valley Chapter throughout his career, having been a member for more than 30 years. Additional volunteer activities include serving leadership positions for multiple youth sports organizations, and currently serving as President of the Rochester Referee Unit, board member for the Central Western NY Board of Approved Soccer Officials, and a referee for Section V high school soccer.
Brad earned his B.S. in Sports Management and M.S. in Higher Education Administration from SUNY Brockport. He resides in Greece, NY with his wife, Liz. Brad & Liz have two adult children, one grandchild and five “grand-dogs.”
