Crisandra Harrison

Fundraising Consulting

Crisandra has been helping nonprofits thrive for more than a decade. Her expertise is in annual funds; campaign creation and management; institutional and event branding and promotion; and training board and development staff.

Crisandra began her fundraising career at the University of Rochester. There she built an annual giving program for the University’s youngest alumni. Her experience made her a wiz at executing solicitation mailings, managing call centers, gift-matching challenges, online giving, social media, volunteer management, and stewardship events. She then applied these talents at The Strong National Museum of Play, helping them double their year-over-year charitable giving revenue. As campaign manager for the museum’s $60M Powered by Play Campaign, she was responsible for almost every aspect of the campaign including goal setting and timelines, budgeting, marketing and branding, and much, much more. Additionally, during her time with the campaign, she secured the largest gift from an individual in the museum’s history.

Crisandra believes in volunteering for the organizations that matter most to her. She sits on the Board of Management of the Schottland Family YMCA (formerly Southeast Branch), where she attends fitness classes and spends summer evenings enjoying Camp Arrowhead’s pool. She was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Western New York after serving as a volunteer for several years. She also actively supports the AutismUp board of directors.

Crisandra has an M.B.A. from the Simon Business School and a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Originally from Maryland, Crisandra has made Rochester her forever home, living in Pittsford with her husband, three children, two cats, and bunny.
